Two Violins

Two Violins performs throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth area at university receptions, corporate functions, conventions, weddings and other events. The ensemble, performing together since 1999, consists of violinists Justin and Magdalena O'Neill. Both are recent graduates of the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston, where they studied violin with Andrzej Grabiec.

Two Violins performs a varied repertoire, ranging from traditional classical music, such as pieces by Bach, Haydn and Mozart, to Spanish dance music and other ethnic pieces. The duo also arranges and composes its own music and will arrange a variety of pieces for violin on request. Two Violins has recently added more world music to its repertoire. Letters of Appreciation

"Magda and Justin, Thanks once again for your excellent accompanying. Oh my, how your beautiful playing enhanced my choir. I really feel that because of your musical expertise, my choir received top ratings. In fact, my choir was the only 4A choir in the Ellis County area to receive superior ratings on stage, and I really feel you two were a part of that. I am thrilled at the fact that my students and myself got to collaborate with you. I will be sure and tell every choir director in the region what I fabulous find I came across this year. Again, thanks a million. I will be looking for music next year to see if I can work with you guys again! Looking forward to hearing great things from your business."
Beth Kerzee, Choral Director Red Oak High School

" I don't think that the party would have been half as wonderful without the beautiful classical music you provided. It was the absolute hit of the evening. There were over 70 guests at that event and I can't tell you how many people called us to say what a beautiful party it was especially the violinists who performed! Thanks ever so much again!"

Carol and Jim Lowell, Addison, Texas

"Alone, both of you are exceptional musicians but together the sound is perfection. You have a unique ability to integrate into the room without being intrusive; to move throughout the various areas to create a gentle background space; and to develop a warm connection with the guests"

Patricia A. Porter Executive Director, Dallas Business Comittee for the Arts

"The Two Violins have contributed greatly to the community by sharing their music and gifts with others. They are prepared, professional in all aspects, and a joy to have at your special event. I would gladly recommend them to any party looking for two talented performers."
